Danielle uses her experience in private practise, both in the UK and Australia to provide the best service for her clients. Her aim is to improve your health by supplying you with sound evidence-based nutritional advice, continued support and effective educational tools that will empower you to make healthier dietary choices and achieve your health and wellness goals.
Danielle has undertaken specialist, credentialed training in eating disorders and also has particular interests in family nutrition. She is committed to individualising her approach and providing advice that adheres to you and your family’s individual needs and goals.
Danielle is able to work with you on varying levels; she combines her nutritional knowledge with developed complementary and alternative therapies in order to provide a holistic approach. If required, Danielle is able to adopt a non-dietary approach, focusing first on the relationship you have with the food you eat and nurturing this before more structured nutritional intervention and dietary manipulation is introduced.
Danielle is committed to providing support for clients whose relationship with food has become distorted and offers a safe space for you to explore your food relationship. Danielle will work with you to address and breakdown any barriers to change whilst also working to bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. Danielle believes that in order to recover your food relationship, an understanding of the biochemistry and physiological responses to diet is needed. She believes it’s important for you to understand what’s going on inside your body and how this affects your mental and physical state. Ultimately her aim is to help you develop an appreciation for food and its purpose, something she believes is absolutely possible with the right guidance and continued support.
