Lauren is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian & Nutritionist passionate about empowering individuals and groups with innovative strategies to improve their health, body and food relationships.

She is passionate about the management of disordered eating and recognises the widespread and varied nature of challenge food and body relationships. Lauren has extensive experience in oncology and applies her knowledge of nutrition and food psychology to assist in the prevention, management, recovery and rehabilitation from cancer and a range of other health conditions. She is trained in the management of children and adolescents through completion of the Royal Children's Hospital Post Graduate Certificate in Paediatric Nutrition and Dietetics, and through working at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. Lauren has been recognised for her expertise in nutritional management of adolescent and young adult cancer care and cancer care planning at a national level.

She is experienced in the management of gastrointestinal disorders, including those related to surgical or anatomical changes, cancer treatment, medical interventions, functional gut disorders, irritable bowel syndrome and enviro-psycho-social contributors. She takes a holistic approach to managing symptoms and gut health.

Lauren has undertaken post graduate study in the Non-Diet Approach, Complementary and Alternative Therapies, Paediatric Nutrition and Dietetics, Cancer Survivorship, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and ACFED Eating Disorder Essentials.

Her other interests include attempting to brighten your day with a curated joke (whether you like it or not!), the perfect cup of tea and her blue heeler who matches her energy levels!
